Be Specific About Exactly What You Are Looking For
What could be more disappointing than travelling some distance to meet fellow swingers only to discover that they intended something completely different from what you intended? It is easy to avoid such an occurrence by stating your intentions in detail and precisely. If you are uncertain about which terms you should use, there are descriptions and definitions on the website or elsewhere. Unsure? Then look it up.
The activities open to swingers are many and varied. Be clear about what you expect, who you expect it with, and where. If you want to meet to introduce yourself with a view to future involvement, make sure this is understood – if the contacts are expecting an immediate result disappointment may ensue. If there are areas you do not want to explore say so from the start –it is just as important to let others know what you don’t want as what you do want. A legal contract requires both parties to be “ad idem” i.e. of the same mind. Getting together with other swingers may not be a legal matter but the principle still applies.
